Gov Arnold Schwarzenegger signs 2 renewable energy bills, vetoes others.
California will require utilities to pay consumers for generating more solar and wind power than they use and will boost the payoff for certain solar facilities. The laws take effect Jan 1, 2010.

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has approved two major initiatives that will require utilities to pay consumers for generating extra power and will boost the payoff for certain solar facilities.
Homes, businesses and schools that have solar panels or wind turbines previously had no financial incentive to use less electricity than they generated. But AB 920, written by Assemblyman Jared Huffman (D-San Rafael), will encourage efficiency, supporters say.
SB 32, by state Sen. Gloria Negrete McLeod (D-Chino), requires utilities to purchase solar electricity from facilities that produce up to three megawatts and could increase installations on unused spaces such as warehouse roofs. The old limit was 1.5 megawatts.
The two bills will go into effect Jan. 1. Schwarzenegger signed them late Sunday, the last day to act on bills from this year's legislative session. Under AB 920, the state Public Utilities Commission will set a rate for utilities to compensate customers whose solar or wind systems produce more power than they use in a year. Under California's current law, customers are not paid for any surplus electricity they feed back into the grid. The state requires that when a consumer installs a solar power system, it be the right size to produce only enough power necessary for on-site use. Rebates from the California Solar Initiative, overseen by the utilities commission, discourage anything larger. So customers who later reduce their energy consumption often end up underutilizing their solar panels.
"The current system instills a perverse incentive for people to waste their solar electricity just so they don't give it away for free to the utilities," said Bernadette Del Chiaro, a clean energy advocate with Environment California, which sponsored the bill.
The new law could boost sales of photovoltaics, especially in regions with sunny summers. Homes that use less power than they did when their solar panels were installed -- such as those that add energy-efficient appliances, insulation or weatherproofing -- and those with children who have moved out can also benefit."This bill applies to individual homeowners as well as small businesses, farms, wineries, schools and even affordable housing developments," Huffman said in a statement.
Customers can either receive a check for the extra energy or have credit rolled forward on their electricity bills. Experts, however, said they should expect little profit. SB 32, meanwhile, could spark more interest in commercial rooftop systems. The law expands an existing program to include municipal utilities, which now must purchase solar power at a set rate until they reach their portion of a statewide 750-megawatt cap. The limit was previously set at 500 megawatts.
The utilities commission will set the rate, which will be higher than market price after incorporating environmental compliance costs and other benefits, said Sue Kateley, executive director of the California Solar Energy Industries Assn., which sponsored the bill.
Between the sweeping solar installations in the desert and the small-scale ones on homes, she said, there had been a category of properties that had plenty of space but didn't use enough power to justify setting up huge solar panels. But now, owners of large storage units and similar low-energy facilities will be able to install solar power systems and sell the extra electricity back to the utilities, a program known as a feed-in tariff.
The program took cues from countries such as Germany -- where, some in the industry have complained, a similar tariff format stimulated the market so much that prices of solar energy shot too high. Other critics are worried that the tariff could be too low to interest investors. "We didn't want to replicate the German model, which was a social movement to create an industry," Kateley said. "In California, we already had an industry, but we wanted to fill a market gap. And within the community, it's really exciting because this law will create local jobs."
In a note to the state Senate on Sunday, Schwarzenegger encouraged the utilities commission to continue investigating an expanded tariff for small to medium-size producers of renewable energy. "In order to meet our greenhouse gas emission reduction goals and a Renewable Portfolio Standard of 33% by 2020, we will need to use all the tools available under our existing programs," he said. But Schwarzenegger vetoed a slate of bills -- including SB 14 and AB 64 -- that would have required the state to rely on renewable resources for at least one-third of its electricity. He has issued an executive order to meet the 33% goal using a different plan and supports efforts to create 1 million solar roofs by 2018.
Assemblyman Paul Krekorian (D-Los Angeles), chairman of a renewable energy committee, called the vetoes a dangerous setback. The bills, Krekorian said, would have created "green" jobs and steadied price volatility while cutting market manipulation from solar hubs outside of California. He said the vetoes would sour developers to the California market, leading them elsewhere. "If we don't get started now," he said, "our opportunities to complete projects are going to be missed."

2D to 3D, Solar Technology.
Today September 09, 2009 (09.09.09) XOLARGY will forever influence the evolution of the solar industry.
People! We are at war and what are fighting for really?....oil and the production of it? Please give peace a chance. I give you the technology.

Here is my opening question......See if you can answer the QUESTION!
What living organism do we know, on Earth that has evolved over the course of millions of years and are very successful in trapping light?
Answer below.
I have taken this concept and developed the solar design. It was under my nose all the time. Now since then technology has advanced and to be honest why re-invent the wheel. I simply used what was already created and modified it.
These designs are endless. They are so efficient, and they take advantage of the fact of natural light provided by the sun.
Fact: A photon is both a wave and particle and true light bends. What would the world look like if all the plants were flat, like a roof top? Thus this is currently the problem with solar designs today is that they are limited by the available two dimensional planes. Typically design on a roof or on flat land areas.
Imagine the possibilities.
We can mimic trees and design them where they are aesthetically pleasing yet efficient. Remember that in ONE HOUR the SUN can provide enough energy to power the whole world for a year!
At then end I fear that we will create a death star...or a Cybertron. Companies are scrambling to buy vast amounts of open land and cover it with 2D solar panels. We don’t have to cover the earth in foil!

Listen, all eyes are on the ice caps and the ozone. It is the one place we can see global warming with our own eyes. You can see it on Google Earth.
Around the North Pole, The ice cap has lost 30% of its ice surface in 30 years.
Greenland’s’ ice contains 20% of the fresh water of the whole planet. If it melts the sea levels would rise 7 meters or 22.9 feet.
We have to share the facts about the climate changes.
We have to share this technology to the whole world.

For 10 years I have had the dream. As an inspired Architect I feel I have an obligation to suggest a solution to the current global climate crisis. We all have an obligation to simply acknowledge this problem.
As the solar solution becomes more and more viable; “we must not allow ourselves to cover the earth in foil.” This means that we should not cover our lands with a blanket of solar farms. Let’s be smart.
We are shaping the earth in our own image.
Frankly, I am not so fawned of the current image.

The good news!
Yes, I will officially end and depart from working as a Real Estate Salesperson with Coldwell Banker. That's the bad news.
The Good news is that I am now dedicating more of my time towards my true passion. Yes my passion.
I admit I believed in Real Estate! I believed it with all of my heart. "The American dream;" my passion was selling homes to first time home buyers; to family and friends. I truly considered it an opportunity of a lifetime. But I did not expect this. As a professional, I expected an adjustment, but not a crash, and not in this magnitude. Someone screwed up! Therefore, if I caused anyone hardship in my behalf, because of the real estate market; I am truly sorry.
I am not the one to point fingers, but you have to see the facts: the lending opportunity to buy closed abruptly; causing the real estate market to collapsed. The banking laws and guidelines were changed overnight. The banks stopped lending and somehow they changed all the lending parameters the very next day! No one was able to qualify. Who saw this coming?
Every American was impacted directly or indirectly. From a national level to a global level. It will take years for this market to restore not only consumer confidence but the values in investing in a home. It has impacting global markets and there is now a shifting of power and economic strengths.
I too was personally impacted. I lost everything. Some can say I even lost most than others; I did not only lose my house;I also my home. Life for me will never be the same. I accept this now.

The truth is, that one must face the facts to gain perspective. I have accepted the present. The now! Yes accepting the present is life changing. Once you have accepted the present you are able to move forward. Yes, I got the worst of it with the recent real estate crash, but don’t worry I am the resilient type. I try not to dwell on the negative and focus on things I can change. This brings me to my passion:
Solar technology.
My passion is to inspire America to believe. To believe in the "true" revolution. The next industrial revolution: the solar revolution! Just like the cell phone, or the Internet, or even the TV, they have all changed the world forever. Imagine for a second a world without the need to burn fuel to create power. Dream! I am eager to share this dream together with you.
My passion is to make a difference for the people; for the world we call Earth.

The power is from the sun. In other words in lieu of burning fossil fuels to heat our homes, or run our computers; we generate electricity from the solar power. Instead of burning coal to create power, we harness the sun's power. Supplement this technology along with Geo-thermal, winds, and hydro power plants, and we can create a balance. We have this technology. All we have to do now is invest and demand it.
“Earth to People, come in People.” The air quality is at it's worst. How much longer are going to continue doing this. Do something! Wake up! Believe! We need to reverse what we have done to our planet and restore a balance. A balance that is most needed. A balance is due some respect!
I believe in solar technology, I believe it is the next big thing. I believe it is the key to this global economic gridlock; the key to ending the dependence to oil globally; the key is Solar Technology.
As most of you know, my primary background is Architecture. I graduated from UCB and worked for Architectural firms like Gensler. I now manage commercial Real Estate globally working for Hitachi Data Systems, as a Global Real Estate Project Manager.
But did I say my passion is Solar?

As most of you know the economy has taken everyone for a turn. in these times of uncertainty; if you apply the basic principles to economics, I believed the solution is to invest.

The deregulation played a key role, it was the main ingredient these scandals. How many scandals can there be.
Hello! …”people we are still at war!” It is mind boggling. And then we go full circle, the only thing that can free us from this addiction to oil is to create this solar technology revolution. I invite you all to this opportunity and I will share with the world.

I admit I did not see this RE thing coming.
And even crazier is that no one is at fault. What? It was dismissed as a con, or a scam like what happened with ENRON, or Wall-Street or could it be that these scam opportunities were created by the deregulation of these industries. The deregulation played a key role, it was the main ingredient these scandals. How many scandals can there be.
Hello! …”people we are still at war!” It is mind boggling. And then we go full circle, the only thing that can free us from this addiction to oil is to create this solar technology revolution. I invite you all to this opportunity and I will share with the world.

Independence = FREEDOM!!!

As a nation and as a world we must seek a true independence to oil. It is imperative!

This topic can not wait any longer. This last weekend marked a huge milestone in the US Energy Plan.
This topic has been dormant and can longer be contained. We all can agree that energy and technology are directly related, but we do not have to burn coal to produce energy any longer.
As you now, there is a huge movement in the energy sector. On Friday, the House of Representatives PASSED the legislation under H.R. 2998 by seven votes. This bill: the American Clean Energy and Security Act is a testament and an example of this movement. The legislation now goes before the Senate. Regardless of the outcome; the global climate concerns and changes have created a global consciousness, which has resulted in an enormous global economical opportunity.

This piece of legislation marks the awareness and new direction of this country to engage the energy crisis facing our economy, nation and our world and recognizing that time is of an essence. Calling all Heroes!
Dear Mr. President,
My friends, Everyone. A letter to MR, DR, SR Madam, dude, MRS. All of Mankind or
To Whom It May Concern:
It is time.
Together we can save the economy and reverse the effects of global warming…and even stop world hunger….just hear me out!
If you haven’t seen the movie, “Who Killed the Electric Car” please buy it, rent it, do what you can to get your hands on it, or simply click below.
I highly recommend it. It is a must see! It is a story about how the simple principals of economics and karma co-exist. We are now experiencing the result of GM’s ambition.
It is interesting how we are now influence by the internet. It is a new media, supplemented with video and chat and blogs. Speaking of movies, I was devastated by the facts from Al Gore’s movie “inconvenient truth” and the healthcare ironies presented in Michael Moore’s’ movie, “Sicko”. Nevertheless it was nothing less than inspiring, which has allowed this message to you to be delivered and present with YOU, right now. This time, this day, this moment!
The internet and Movies, what do all these have in common? And why do I write to you? The answer is simple. The energy and the power to be a part of this revolution. the energy for you to show interest and the act or effort to continue reading.
The power of grassroots through the internet; as technology advances the human race will continue to demand more power to run this technology. This is why it is imperative to invest in new technology which will guide the industry to create a harmony with the Earth and all its nature.
I come to ask for your help.

If the solution was right in front of you would you have the keen eye as to see it and would you take the risk to go for it!
Remember what happened in 1984? I would have sure loved to be invited to be one of those investors who were offered to buy shares in this company. They were the revolutionary risk takers who prospered.
I am looking for people to network, people in the same platform, who have the passion to save the planet. I am in need of investors and I am seeking interns and individuals willing and able to be employed as an internship basis/ volunteers with the goal to create the next generation of solar technology.
Dare to think outside the box.
